Here’s an update on ‘Joe’ the plumber:
His current income is $40K per year. He would actually pay less taxes under Obama’s plan than under McCain’s. The business he wants to buy only grosses $100K, so even if he did buy the business, he would still pay less under Obama’s plan than under McCain’s
Plus, he may or may not be related to Charles Keating, he of the Keating Five scandal.
McCain should have done a little more vetting before he decided to make Joe famous. Basically everything that McCain railed on in his debate last night vis-a-vis ‘Joe’ is wrong and Joe will be better off under an Obama administration.
How could anyone vote for McCain? The guy just exudes incompetence.
