JWM in SD, I wasn’t asking a question. I was making a statement. Like I said, I never told my agent where my money came from, just that I have it. So, can you tell me how would an agent know where the $ came from from recent sales data? All they can see is % down. Also, 3 agents data can hardly determine anything pertaining to the whole market. The sample pool is way too limited to make any kind of meaningful extrapolation. The only case where they would know is if the buyer has contingency, like you said, but if the buyer already sold their house and sitting on cash, why would an agent even make an effort to ask. If I was that buy and my agent ask, I wouldn’t tell anyways. It’s none of the agent’s business where I got my cash, just that I do have it.
