Just moved from the Bay Area. I noticed that conservatives up there have their knives out for Boudin. Seems like the PD response to budget cuts is to just refuse to do their jobs. Makes me think of the Uvalde police hanging back while the shooter went in and killed all those kids. People who refuse to do their jobs should be fired, IMO.
