JPJones, you had it right when you said that “there is too much spin and hypocrisy on either side for most of the commentaries to be worth a damn.” Your reasoned responses to the spin being applied by the posters on this topic has been met with more spin and more ignorance of (or, worse yet, disregard for) the facts.
Very few of the posters care enough about the issues and the facts to change their mind about anything given the truth. All they want is to spout some half (at best) true spin for their guy and shout you down when you speak truth.
