jpinpb, the areas that are in the blue in the link I provided are well under $417k. So the loan limit doesn’t really matter here. These are areas that have already fallen about 50% and some are back to 2001 prices if not earlier. I see a house in Escondido that’s back to 1990 price. How much more do you think that house will fall? back to 1980 price? Point is, the areas you’re considering are probably not in the blue from the link I provided.
