Jeez, I hate to harp on this but you guys miss the biggest variable in what is causing massive price increases in food and oil. Demand is outstripping supply in the oil market. It’s very obvious if you watch the numbers.
Roscoe Bartlett a congressman from MD just gave a presentation today on this for anybody that pays attention.
And yes it will make the worlds poor suffer. I think I can find another thread where I said that the airlines would be the first to go and mass starvation of the worlds poor before any of the press came out if I really looked. But everybody calls it a “wacky” theory.
I’ve been saying these things for over two years and quite honestly it’s surreal to see these predictions manifest.
Bottom line is the worlds markets cannot continue the way china and the US are sucking up oil without reeking havoc on the worlds poor. Period end of story.
