James, places like Clairemont, Mira Mesa, PQ and other areas that I would characterize as entry level homes are very active right now. If they are priced aggressively they are having alot of activity. This is not a post to say, “Oh you better buy now because if you don’t you will miss the bottom.”
I am not trying to create a “sense of urgency” as some have implied. It is simply a statement of fact. It may be better to put the blinders on and not even look for awhile because it is easy to get caught up in the melee. Conversely if you are going to look, just realize alot of activity is occurring right now. Take that for what it is, nothing more and nothing less.
AK I like the homes that sit on the west end of Bliss Circle because they sit well below the grade of Olive. However you totally pegged the highly amplified mobile systems effect. Lots of those in that area. I had to laugh because the neighbor 3 doors down from my listing had that.
As far as rates go, yes they are pretty darn low and how long they will stay this way is subject to alot of debate. I don’t see them running back to the high side in the near future. Yes at some point they will run aways circa 1980s but I feel that is a bit of a ways off. In this recession/depression era we have it, they are gonna be low for little bit of a spell I believe.
