I’m a lawyer and I can tell you that 98% are schmoes. And judges are even worse than lawyers. It’s because they were that way when they were young and no one wanted to play with them, so they went into law to be professional schmoes. Yes, it’s true it’s cute to hate lawyers until you need one, but they charge way, way too much. Fortunately, I work for State government and have never had to deal with fees. The whole legal system is totally screwed up and it’s really disgusting to me. But not surprising, since the people who run it are lawyers. I only have three more years to retirement. Hooray!!
