it’s easy to come to generalizations. in general. yours about republicans and democrats is easy enough because since the late 90’s, being republican was fashionable, nobody admits their mistakes and democrats havent either chance nor desire to do anything to make themselves noticed.
and no, you’re not copping out, you’re not straddling a fence. the two party system is a fallacy; america is not confined to democrats and republicans. the openness, the competition that “capitalists” so engender does exist in american politics as well. it’s just that the media monopolies need to be broken down to break the two party spell. the internet is doing that.
