I’d be happy to vote for Ron Paul because he is one of the only that unequivocally says that he would withdraw all US troops from Iraq now and would restore the gutted and trampled US constitution.
I think many others feel likewise given his amazing ability to raise internet money while the mainstream media, predictably, dismisses him as a fringe candidate.
None of the republican candidates dare end Bush’s neocon endless war, with McCain wanting an escalation (yeah, real maverick John) and the leading dems are predictably spineless and no different. On balance, if I have to choose between supporting a candidate that would bring troops home from Iraq now and restore the rule of law in the US, vs. leaving it up to the states to decide abortion, its a no brainer since I live in Calif.
Go Ron, at least he challenges the lameass status quo.
