I wouldn’t vote for Obama, but I’d hate to see either presidential candidate win by default, whether their opponent somehow died or was disqualified on a technicality. I don’t want to see either one of them get caught with a suitcase full of coke and (3) 12-year old boys, or get arrested as a spy for Venezuela.
The electorate is basically divided and it is in the best interests of the nation for each side’s candidates to take their best shot. It’s supposed to be by the people and for the people.
If Obama is somehow unqualified for office then shame on the DNC leadership for not finding this out sooner and preventing him from splitting their vote. The same goes for the GOP and McCain’s bonafides.
The ends cannot justify the means – that’s how the situation has degraded to it’s present condition.
