I work in Government and just spoke with SDG&E about Sunrise last week. The CA Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)designated that the preferred route in the Draft Environmental Impact Report excludes Penasquitos entirely and wants it to run through Miramar Road. Additionally, if for some reason the route changed again and it went through PQ, the Council District negotiated with SDG&E to commit to undergrounding that portion of the line.
