I think the key to finding a good short sale is to find one listed by an experienced short sale agent who isnt based in CV like me (unfortunately I dont have any there right now). The local agents seem to want to preserve the comps where as a good outside agent just wants to get it done at a fair price. I had a complex situation to deal with lenders on and had an hour conversation with one of the local agents over pricing. She tried to convince I was screwing up her comps. Her head was so far up her %^T( that she was beyond saving. I ended up hanging up on her because it was like talking to a wall.
