I think kewp is right on, I wish I had his (assuming kewp is male) discipline.
It can be learned (I wasn’t always this way, for sure!). I’ll comment that once you make the change it becomes pretty sticky; I can’t imagine ever going back to my old ways.

Does anyone here think WaMu will fail within the next 90 days?
Who knows; even I’m amazed at how fast things are deteriorating. Can’t hurt to err on the side of caution.
Is there an alternative to opening up seven 100k savings accounts? Maybe buy 700k of bonds? Are there banks that insure accounts up to a million?
