I think it depends on the value of the items being insured.
In my case I could replace all appliances for less than the insurance premium stated on your link. I just have washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave. Which means I’d take the cash!
I have central air but never use it though I know a broken AC condensor will cost ya.
