I thank you all for your advice. So much good stuff. I was gonna get on my elderly dad’s case until someone said to me, “Someday, when he’s gone, you’ll miss his daily offerings terribly.” That’s why I usually just delete his stuff without reading it and wading through the seemingly hundreds of other people who got the e-mail first. I do send him to urban legends sites when he sends me patently ridiculous info, and I ask him to forward the info to all his contacts. But I can’t understand people who are middle-aged like me, such as the woman in my original post, and relatively computer literate who still can’t get the CAN IT message. My 19-year-old NEVER sends me this junk…just asks for money, of course (tee-hee). Thanks again.
