I suspect a lot of these 5+ bedroom McMansions are dinasaurs and will suffer greviously on a price per SF basis. When rising utility costs are factored in along with Americans’ coming healthy desire to downsize, quality and location will triumph over size. A smaller footprint is a good thing.
