I like the idea of giving back a sob story. Tell her you have cancer and need the money for chemo. (no offense to the real cancer sufferers out there). Or tell her you missed a mortgage payment and are getting foreclosed on.
If she doesn’t have the money, going to court won’t change anything (except make some lawyers happy).
