I like my Simonton windows. They can be tilt out so you can clean the windows from the inside. I don’t mind replacement windows at all. Spend an additional $20 bucks to add molding to frame out the window and you won’t feel that you loss a few inches. It’ll make the windows look more expensive than actually spending a lot more money to rip out the old window frame.
