I know that it can’t be a great retail season, because the freight companies have laid off so many workers. I know one lady that said her husband would be laid off for 3 weeks before it actually happened. Apparently his company was laying off 12-20 workers in San Diego every Friday in October and November. If freight is not moving, stores do not plan on a good retail season.
