I hijacked this thread into some of my best comedy and now it’s morphed into some serious discussions between piggington’s elite women. You gals are so above the pack that it’s like watching a prosecutor and defense attorney represent petty thieves, don’t take sides with the woman from this article, none of you would ever be her, she’s beneath you.
C-Bad, when they perfect cloning, you should be the first, if all wives were you, there wouldn’t be divorce attorneys. Don’t join the peace core or waste your time learning from others who know less than you. Write books, become famous, dethrone Dr. laura and become the leader of the female of our species. Just look at how you wrote about your husband’s sacrifice, not dwelling on your own, but realizing it is a shared life and shared sacrifice, my faith hath been restored in your people, but I still reserve the right to call some of them crazy.
CA renter- cmon, your my homeslice, don’t paint that sterotype of us men. Lots of men out there are good fathers and husbands, never cheat on their wives and are put out on the curb because they don’t live up to romance novel/soap opera standards, lot’s of women fall into that trap of wanting to upgrade, only finding out later that the man of their dreams is a myth and they ruined their family while learning that fact. One of the few times I caught dr. laura, she said that women are the only dog owners that will buy a labrador because it is a good family dog and then kick it because it is not as good of a guard dog as a doberman. You want a man with six pack abs, then he wont be doing homework with the kids or spending time listening to you, he will be at the gym. Compromise goes both ways. But I know you were just championing the underdog as you saw it, just look at it from a different perspective.
For our divorced mother that was the reason for this thread, we know nothing as to how her marital status came to be what it is, but we know what she is doing now and it can be an indicator of what happened in the past, people rarely change that much, her priorities are still out of whack and until proven otherwise I’ll believe they always were. She thinks she is doing this for her children but she is robbing them of life’s lessons. She should downsize, perhaps even have become a dreaded renter, had her kids befriend less than perfect playmates, attend less than perfect schools and then watch her rise from the ashes as opposed to sacrificing for superficiality. It is one of life’s greatest lessons. I took my kids on a ride from Mcmansion to McCondo to McMansion and they are stronger and wiser because of the journey, something in hindsight I’m proud of and she is afraid of.
scardey-the advice is always free, 1-4 hour sessions will set you back a bottle or two of cab, maybe a cigar, but that is a bargain.
