I had Lasik more than 10 years ago. For me, it was a good choice. My eyesight was truly horrible – about -7 in both eyes. I literally couldn’t see anything more than about 2 feet away. I wore contacts for years and my eyes were always red and itchy. Glasses gave me headaches. Lasik has been great. No problems. Still 20/20 after all these years without any touchups.
