I had a good friend who bought one of these in the early 90’s. Pretty sure they pd about $170K for this exact or very similar floorplan. They had to scrape accoustical ceiling off before they moved in and paint the stair railings. The condo is shaped a little like a narrow train car. The secondary bedrooms seemed very small to me and one of theirs did not have a closet. The kitchen is very small and as you can see, is the same room as a small dining area or family room, with a half-bath adjacent. The garage was nice sized for two cars.
Too many stairs for me, one step from the front door to the LR, a few more up to the formal dining area. Another entire set from the front door to the 3 bedrooms. Another shorter entire set from the front door down to the laundry and garage. All the garages face each other in a wide alley. You can see a long line of units through the kitchen/dining area windows across the alley and their respective garages underneath. All front doors faced each other from their private courtyards and had a common area entrance.
I don’t know about elementary school but they had a HS student at the time and the HS WAS NOT LJ, it was UC. This was absolutely in the UC High attendance area. Don’t know about now but their kid graduated from UC.
Yes, Scarlett, conveniently located but very much seemed like an apt, not an SFR.
