I don’t have that much of a problem with these salaries considering the responsiblities, and they probably work very hard for them.
The timing is kind of questionable although does anyone really expect someone running for election to take a raise not long before the election?
I don’t believe them when they say they didn’t delay the raises because of the election. Telling us that the election had no bearing on the timing is the part that bothers me.
