Risk and Commensurate Rewards. Little or no risk should mean little or moderate reward. It’s that principle which has been damaged in the last several years. The culture you speak of has diminished and morphed into wanting no risk with significant reward. That happened through a mix of government intervention and lack of regulation and elitist greed that has always been buried below the surface of a particular class in this country.
