I believe Parker is $23K this year. I know a couple that has a kid there (in kindergarten). Great people, but… I. Just. Don’t. Get. It. (That’s almost sure to cost at least $350K after inflation before the kids hits college. That will suck up $600K of pre-tax earnings here in California.)
Of course, I went to public school K-12. And of 7 years of post-high school education, 6 were at public universities and they were dirt cheap. And a previous employer paid for the private university. I don’t believe that we “get what we pay for” where education is concerned.
Not unlike health care, the money that some folks spend on education… I don’t understand it.
