I believe conflicts happen within the family with the sink and stove directly facing each other, but conflicts also happen within the family without the sink and stove directly facing each other. I have never seen a Fengshui book that starts with statistical sampling, which I really believe.
That said, I do pay attention to Fengshui when buying house only because it affects the market value.
