I believe 6486 Started at $ 1.7 for a short while, then went to 1.5 and then 1.35 and so forth. Agent was a stranger to Del Cerro and over priced. Took way too long to finally get it down to realistic. The house was well kept, but too modernistic for my taste. Biggest drawback was garage on lower level, alot of stairs to get to entry. In this price range people generally don’t want to carry groceries up all these stairs to kitchen, etc. This is true of lots of big Del Cerro homes, but any agent that knows will tell you better for garage / entry to be on same level at street and then go to basement for bedrooms / family versus the way this one was. Ditto others on Dwane.
Overlake is special unique street with great views especially of the lake if on the East side. There is one vacant lot on Ridgemoore, they were asking $ 1.2 last year. Now that was a real laugh.
As regards the one for sale it was a very custom plan by the builder who built alot of the homes in Del Cerro. From the entry there is a staircase that goes up to the master bedroom ( well lets call it unique ), but bedroom / bath / closet is too small by 2008 standards and no real way to solve. Other “unique” features. I though at the time, 2005, that buyer over paid as it needed lots of work. It will be interesting to see what happens.
