I am offended by the “Just say no” campaigns in the two grade schools my kids go to . It’s stimulus as much as deterrent…and I doubt my kids need either.
I hate military indoctrination too. The school made all the kids find and adult friend or family member who was a veteran and write his or her name on a star and paste it on a prominent wall at the school. This was a threat of detention. I am surprised I didn’t go cuss out the Principal /Superintendent. And yes, I am a veteran. Had a long talk with my kids about this.
