I also still have a rear projection that refuses to die. I’ve actually considered sabotaging it when my wife’s not looking so I can replace it with the awesome 65″ Sharp LCD.
I’m actually going to hold off until after the move this summer to DC, since on my last move the mover broke one of my TVs, which is how I got my first LCD. By the way, when movers break something you get a raw deal. They reimburse you for the depreciated value of whatever they broke, not replacement cost. To add insult to injury at the end of the year you are rewarded with a 1099 for the “income”.
