I almost purchased a house down the street about a year ago – then I backed out ( when I realized that the house was too small, and the purchase price, even though well below the others in the neighborhood, still seemed like too high for the amount of house – I do really like this area – very clean, nice to be able to walk over to Poinsettia park, and close to the Coaster station … The other downside I for me is the Carlsbad school district seemed to be too crowded for my tastes ( I have been renting in this area and now would strongly recommend Encinitas / San Digueno – that is, if you have any little ones under foot or in your your future . . . )
