Texas doesn’t have a lot of room to complain. I’d be much happier to see California secede – Will Durst even had a website to this effect years back.
It’s absolutely comical to watch average republicants complain about taxes to pay for the mess when they’re obviously happy to acquiesce to the crimes that got us into the mess in the first place.
