“However it’s my understanding that the city of Santee is still financially sound. ”
It is absolutely sound. They operate on a surplus. We are not even raising sales tax!
Piggington bloggers are tipically anti-Santee. They are angry and bitter(they often pretend they are different personalities to make it seem they are ganging up on you). You will find they don’t have anything better to do than pick fights with each other and name call or try to insult you for the way you feel.
Most the time that is all that is on here anymore. Which is why I check back every so often. Every once in a while, I find something I can use.
The houses are selling, and have been selling well here. It is because it has a short commute, close to freeways, has good schools, safe and relatively affordable neighborhoods. Our developing, and redeveloping, just keeps making it better. The area is well thought out.
We have a great fireworks celebration and the houses surrounding the sports park will have the best view/you can walk to the festivities.
The area you are talking about is VERY good right now(I am waiting for Fanita Ranch). Rio Seco, is at the moment, our top performing K-8 I believe. That sports park will be going in soon, this year I think. That whole area will be walkable- meaning you can walk to schools, parks, shopping. It is really nice.
I find the blog and SDLOOK UP very informative…you should check it out!
