Hitchens is not crazed – often drunk and largley po-faced, certainly.
I just dislike him because even when he’s agreeing with you he looks like he still wants to punch you in the throat. He’s also a lapsed Socialist, as dangerous and opinionated as an ex-smoker when he gets on his high horse.
On my ‘how long would I last stuck in an elevator with this person” meter he gets a 2 (1 being “shoot me now” and 10 being “I want to marry you and have your babies even if you are another woman”.
Andrew Sullivan? Don’t know him – although by the Transatlantic Accent I’d guess he’s another Fleet St Refugee. At least he can smile without smirking.
