One very important: “Trumpet (sic)” -like my 5 yr old calles him – lost!! and I had the opportunity to teach my kids (5 and 8) about compassion, racism, equality, taxes, life penalty, abortion or prolife depending how you see it, a women vicepresident, etc and my 8 yrs old was asking every other hour for the past 2 days if Georgia or Pennsylvania has turned blue yet. Note this kids are on still on paw patrol and sofia de first so I was very impressed they cared and listened.
I do not support all democrats policies the same way that I don’t support all republicans policies that is why I am independent. But this election, I voted to remove hate, narcissism and lack of compassion from the White House and Biden was the best choice. Additional bonus to have a woman with diverse ethnic background and most importantly with strong qualifications be a VicePresident.
I lived in a country where a corrupt narcist president also lost a reelection race and he just didn’t show on to the change of command ceremony. It wouldn’t surprised me that it will happen in this case too.
Second, and the reason I commented on this thread, is to share that I finally – after almost 4.5 months, I finally got approval on the color of my house. I spoke to the lawyer from my work service and he was ready to write a letter but my husband is a non-conflict person so we went to 3 more back and forth – including one when I said ok I will use the stucco color from the last recommended schemes for my house – if I get the trim and accent colors I want – and then they said “oops that color was not allowed we made a mistake”!!!! It was so ridiculous. I did tweak the main stucco color which I think will be better but they agreed to the 3 colors I wanted. My gray and blue! On the not so bright side, they approved just when rainy season start. My painter is available on Thanksgiving week so my crossing fingers it will be a dry week if not we will be the house with the 17 different patches of color painted until it dries again.
