Santee Lakes is a fun place to take the kids for a stroll and feed the ducks. Plus, Santee just approved to put in the very first water ski, cable park at Lake 1 in Santee Lakes. This will be great for the kids!
“The Santee City Council approved Padre Dam’s plan in October for a cable ski park, where a cable would pull wakeboarders on the southernmost lake. The council voted 3-2, despite complaints from neighbors that it would bring traffic and noise. Carlisle said plans for the cable ski park are moving forward and developer Sudweeks Construction hopes to open it next year.”
