Holy cow, TemekuT, you are right! I thought I knew what “hot” was, moving from Temecula, but we found out quickly that combining “hot” with “humid” can make things miserable there! It’s great in the fall / winter / spring, but there are about 3-4 months in the summer that are tough!

People who rip TV because of the weather have obviously never lived in phoenix, pretty much anywhere close to Texas , the mid-west or most of the east coast.
Or pretty much anywhere other than coastal SD..
Personally I kind of liked living out of the “everything going to get wet every morning” zone.
But I can see the attraction to cooler summers as well.
