Good thing INTC can afford to flush $$ down the drain
these days. You know, I bot one of their E8400 processors back when they first came out- saw it on Slickdeals.net for about $130 from CompUsa/Tigerdirect when everyone else was selling it for about $225. It was an obvious pricing mistake but they sent it to me anyway for the advertised price. Today, about 2 years later, I am looking to upgrade components of another of my pc’s and see that the E8400 is still selling for about $169 bucks which to me is incredible for a pc component that old. I was expecting to be able to get it for about 80 bucks- oh well, where is that incredible deflation some are screaming about.
