Good point about Austin also. My cousin moved to Portland many years ago to work for Intel. Last year he moved to Austin.
I dont know much about Austin and have never been there beyond passing through it on the freeway between Dallas and San Antonio sales calls. I never had inclination to visit it. The last couple years I see and hear more about it and am looking forward to visiting someday.
