God has no personality and is not an entity. Its the self organizing force behind the constant changes in the universe.
John, I surprisingly agree with you, to an extent. However, evolution is an observable fact and it is intellectually dishonest to find gaps in science and claim that it is God’s doing that we can’t understand. It stifles scientific progress and rational thought. There is no reason they can’t both simultaneously exist.
I believe Einstein said it best.
“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity”
I personally don’t think humans, at this juncture in history even with all our creativity have been able to articulate the devine especially with our limited linguistic capabilities and IMO, organized religions are just early versions of political control with some elements of wisdom and truth intertwined within them.
Not-knowing is true knowledge.
Presuming to know is a disease.
First realize that you are sick.
Then you can move toward health
