My uncle worked for GM back in the day in Cleveland, OH and when we used to visit him it was hilarious because he wouldn’t let me Dad park the Honda Accord in the driveway. He was so adamant about “Buy American” that it almost caused a riff between him and my Dad.
One Christmas he gave my Dad a watch with the GM logo and a slogan buy American. My Dad goes to put it on, turns it over and guess what is says on the back….no lie…frickin hilarious…
