For a couple of guys I know, a woman who rides a horse (whether owned or “rented” from a stable) is automatically eliminated from the potential dating pool.
My step sister back east is an avid equestrian. Owns three horses, heated stables, a huge indoor riding ring, the whole nine yards. Her husband makes a big load of cake, but I swear she’s gonna bankrupt that guy before it’s all said and done.
But it’s entertaining to watch him trying to stay afloat.
