Or this neighborhood in Century City. There is mix of condos/apartments and single family houses. I visited someone nearby and they had chic European style condo, right in the city.

L.A. has lots of really cute, eclectic neighborhoods, even in what’s considered the suburbs. I think you’ll like it if you end up moving there.
