[quote=flu]If I were to redo my career (which may very well be soon), I’d probably invest in going back to school and be an optometrist.
3) Low stress job… (“Ok, which is better? One or Two?”)….

In some ways I agree, but not totally. Seems to me that a lot weighs on the shoulders of an optometrist, since their catching a desease early may be the only thing that stands between eyesight and blindness in some individuals.
As far as becoming a realtor, I had thought about it at one point but after observing them carefully for a long time, I concluded it probably wasn’t the path for me.
My reasoning was that it would drive me crazy dealing with all the flakey sh*t that clients would do….such as show them 50 homes then they don’t buy…or worse yet buy through someone else. I’m much happier in a career where I get paid relative to the time I invest…not an all-or-nothing situation. Though when ‘all’ hits, it really hits in RE.
Still, walking through homes day after day would be a lot of fun…especially when it’s someone elese having to make the buy decision. 🙂
