I think I know this one. In sorrento valley, the proponents of “Shame on XYZ” are in dispute with a contractor(may be janitorial). The people behind the signs want the contractor to provide some benefits and the contractor refuses. So whereever the contractor provides services, the signs go up. (For example, if the contractor provides services to Qualcomm, the signs say “Shame on Qualcomm” giving the impression that somehow QC are a party to the dispute…)
