flu, I thought you knew Elop is an ex-MSFT exec. I personally think Microkia will be successful. Alone, they don’t have as much of a chance, but together, they complement each other very well. Look at it this way, even w/ Symbian, Nokia has been holding the top spot for a long time. Although it’s decreasing in comparison to Android, it’s still quite large. It’s a 1 OEM and 1 OS kind of like Apple and iOS vs an army of Android phones. Technologically, Symbian is no match for Android or iOS. But WP7 is a very viable competitor. I’ve used WP7 and it has its strengths and weaknesses, but still a very good competitor to the current crop of smartphone OS. We’ll just have to wait and see. 2012 will be here before you know it.
