Family and friends who have been in the Bay Area for years and have rentals are enjoying the ride, but realize it’s tough for those trying to enter the market–even though, as mentioned, rents are still considered reasonable by London standards.
I realize many have to relocate for jobs, but although we enjoy visiting–really wouldn’t want to permanently live in either location–for many reasons. Even though we have lots of film projects, we wouldn’t want to live in LA either, so, as most things life–to each his/her own.
