LOL – my house in PA had been updated from it’s original roots (built 1900ish)… to avocado green and harvest gold. And yes – flourescent lights. I did choose to remove the horrible lime green and neon orange “farm scene” wallpaper that had been added circa 1975… but those appliances were kept till they died. The dishwasher was still there when I sold. (Although I’d switched the cover to one of the alternate colors – ivory. You could take apart the door and find changeable front panels: harvest gold, avocado green, cocoa brown, and ivory.)
