DWCAp, I think it all comes down to supply/demand. If more people want new, then new will always command higher price. I personally don’t like most of the houses built after 2000. I’m partial w/ double door entry and high ceilings in the living room area. Houses built between 1980-2000 (especially houses built between 1990-2000) just feel less cramp than the houses built after 2000 at the same sq-ft. However, I do like the big kitchen of the newer house and 10-12′ ceilings vs 8-9′ ceilings.
