Docteur, I agree with you in many respects. However, I do think that there are random events that a person can’t control, can’t predict and which can’t be explained by a natural progression from previous behavior or choices. In my view, that qualifies as luck, either good or bad.
I am certainly not a fatalist, I don’t think things are preordained. Every person should empower themselves and take responsibility for their place in life.
